James Blunt All the Lost Souls World Tour (May 13)
A last minute spontaneous decision to go for James Blunt concert turned out without any regrets! It was truly a soulful performance by James Blunt – strong & clear vocals! No fanciful costumes or elaborate stage designs – just him with his 4 band members delivering a series of his songs from his 2 albums “Back to Bedlam” & “All the Lost Souls”.
His popular hits “Goodbye my lover”, “You’re beautiful”, “1973” (just to name a few) are some of the most favourite amongst the crowd who attended his full-house concert last night.
If you’re into soft rock, pop & folk, this one is worth listening. James Blunt has sold over 11 million CDs worldwide. He was nominated for 5 Grammys and landing with the 1st no. one single in the US (You’re Beautiful) for a British act and also winning 2 MTV Awards & 2 BRIT Awards.
The songs, written by him are mainly about his experiences in life – the ups & downs in his journeys, his travels. In his biography he says, “We go through this really amazing experience called life and we’re trying to understand it and understand why …we’re here. I really love life. I really enjoy it but it does trouble me and as it goes and it ticks by – it’s not very long – you kind of wonder what you’re going to get out of it, where to look for greater depth and meaning, and why we do the things we do to fill it. I think we all experience that.”
Yes, some days we might feel just that way unless if we’re so fortunate that we never experience any negativity in our life yet.
