Yay Eve, its a totally different experience watching at the studio, much more exciting and happening!

In the studio, its really "LIVE" to the last second when the artistes have to standby ready for the camera and props being arranged, and during tv commercials you get to see alot more action in between!

Hmmm, this year's PSC got very little publicity. Firstly bcos of the F1 SingTel Grand Prix that had just finished last week, secondly bcos of Venerable Shi's controversy and the cancellation of any possible Ren Ci charity show (not that Im keen of watching anyway), and lastly cos most of the Ch 5/8 artistes are busy filming mega-dramas. Not to forget that there's no talent competition on Channel 5 this year. And this seems to be the only charity show for this year (unless another springs up later)

There's one thing Im not very happy about... and it's the PSC 2008 poster as seen inside this week's copy of 8 days. Grab your copy and you;ll know what I mean...

- The biggest travesty has gotta be Jon Leong's image positioning in the ensemble... he is located at the very back row , and his face is barely visible under the poor contrast!! I felt that Jon's image (as well as Olinda's) should be placed within the same row as Taufik, Hady, Ping Hui, Fiona and Daren!! Jon and Oli are also rising stars, therefore they deserve much better positioning!! :angry:
- The poster design committee oughta be sued, cos the background color is totally salah for a supposedly jovial event like PSC!! With the BG color being black in color, it only makes the poster look weirder, with the darkness mixing with the artistes' black hairdo... and that makes Jon's and Daren's heads look even weirder!! What happened to the design team's sense of color theory and variety??? :angry:
- And to a lesser degree, I seriously think that Kym Ng's face should be placed BEHIND... not at the front most portion of the poster.

I see what you mean about the poster in 8 Days – about the dark background and the artistes’ hairdo merging with the background. Adrian’s hair is like merged with the design on Daren’s tee and Daren’s hair is like indistinct. I don’t see Maltida’s photo either.

I wonder if the pics are placed in order of their appearance and Jon will be one of the last performers for the night??? Also, Jon’s name is mentioned last in the list of performers at the bottom of the page. Ahh….usually the special VIP stars will perform towards the end. Yes? :D :D :D

Mmm….based on the Mediacorp article on the PSC (thanks for the link, Eilly!) and seeing how they have grouped or paired the performers together, my guess is that Jon will be performing with Veronica Young. They seem to be the ones who are not paired up yet. Maybe they will sing a ballad or a jazzy number? smitten

Wah…I miss so much excitement in the Forum!

I’m very sad that I won’t be able to go for this year’s PSC or even get to see Jon on TV…at that time, I’ll be thousands of mile away in the sky (on my way to Munich). I’ll try to get someone at home to donate during Jon’s segment.

I’m missing Jon already even after seeing him at the Levi’s Unbutton event. Hope I’ll get to see him at WLH’s concert on 1Nov!

To be honest, i am quite upset with Mediacorp... How can JON's performance be so short like that.. :angry:

Guten Tag, Hello again! It is now 4.47pm in Munich.

So, I see the postings after the show is all gone. How about reposting them! I didnt get to see the show but thanks to the earlier postings and now the links on the PSC (thx Elle, Carol), I get to see Jon. Ya, all dressy and looking really good!

Those who waited for him at the Radiogate, did you get to see Jon in his pink suit? I dont have the chance and time to read the news, can someone post again the review of the show? Hope his segment managed to contribute to the good cause.

Well see you all soon and have faith. I am sure we will get to see Jon again soon!

We can feel all the excitement of the forumers’ personal encounters at PSC in the posts and it’s a disappointment if they are lost in cyberspace! :( :(

Good thing I managed to catch Jon’s performance during the encore telecast of PSC on Sat so that I could savour Jon’s performance in calmness! :D

Unlike that day at the studio, was super charged, busy multi-tasking :lol: screaming for Jon, calling the donation lines, screaming, looking at Jon on stage, wah! and screaming even more loudly when they captured that handsome side profile of Jon on the big screen in the studio! Wahahahaha so fun indeed! This kind of multi-tasking I enjoy unlike the multi-tasking we have to do at work! :(

It was so nostalgic at the PSC when Jon sang “Quando, Quando, Quando” – reminded me of that special day when they showed SI 2 contestant # 3846 singing that very same song “Quando Quando Quando” at the auditions and the judges said, “Congratulations! You are through to the next round!” smitten
How Jon has grown as an artiste since that day! Jia you, Jon!

Oh, Jon had already changed out of his suit when we met him at Radiogate. He was wearing a Harley Davidson tee and a denim jacket. He looks good in this outfit too! We didn’t mind what he was wearing so long as he stopped for us and spent some time with us! :D We hugged him and took pics with him. smitten My only grouse was that the time was too short. Wish he could have stayed longer and chat with us longer! :(


And…..he did up his car with a super cool decal! I shall not describe it here except to say that his car survived the attack! :lol: Ahh…..if you ever see such a car with such a decal on the streets, you’ll surely know it is Jon’s car! wink1
