Suddenly, there was a roar in the hatching cavern. The clutch was on the sands! Not only that, the queen hadn't even flown yet, or had she? Queen Iolath had been flown by a wild bronze dragon while nobody was looking obviously, and the eggs were so small that she didn't appear pregnant!

As the people filed in, eggs began to hatch. The first to appear was a pink and purple female, three pairs of wings lining her dainty back as she looked around, Impressing to a boy from the stands. Aha, but this was also a queen color! When she grew up, even though she was the size of a small cat, she'd be 300 feet long and be able to clutch 100 eggs! The blind boy, with tears in his eyes, allowed his dragon to lead him to the food that was hastily being laid out for all.

Another egg hatched with an explosion of shells. The dragon standing there was a fiery red beast with a mane of hair and feathery wings. He was a lord, of course, and could eventually breathe fire when he got older without firestone! Oh, did I mention he also breathed ice?

A green the size of a gold hatched, but she had gold flecks along her back. The crowd boo'ed as such a "normal" looking creature and it burst into flames. Silly Weyrwoman for using something only 'sup-par' to the non-canon world. Of course, to pick up the slack, a GOLD hatched! No matter what, everyone wants a gold, especially one with four eyes, no front legs and is the size of a horse already at birth! Wait, how did she fit in that egg.... Oh! The BABY gold laid an egg! This miniature egg suddenly hatched and out popped a small white, which was assisted out of its egg by an albino girl with.. lavender eyes? Oh yes and she has angel wings too. The bond was made, and everyone cheered. Wow, won't they have so much fun timing it when they are older? Little does the girl or the dragon know though, the white, though it will stay as small as a runnerbeast, is female and will be able to rise and clutch more mini dragons! How's -that- for interesting????

Then a magical rainbow dragon appeared, with two sets of angelic wings and a halo on its head! It was obviously a queen and was picked up by the girl's 'queendar' nearby and they all flocked to it. The rainbow creature turned away from them all, looking to the stands. Hey look, that persons seems suitable! With a bugle, the queen levitated over to a lad with blue hair and a centaur body, Impressing to him. Homg, he'll be the best Weyrwoman evaarz!!!!

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit =)

Even I'm scared and I'm not against mutation weyrs. That was just... scary. People actually do that in non-canon weyrs? You had me going for a while, until the first dragon hatched and I remembered you saying you didn't like non-canon colours, and that this was a canon site... Very good though.

I have just died A LOT inside. And I don't know whether I can undie inside adfter that. Ouch. That hurts, and so not in a good way.

Breathing fire without assistance
Every female color that hatches being able to clutch

And some of the ludicrous things... well I hope nobody takes them and makes Weyr based off of them XD lol.

Yeah, I suppose the AR (Anal Retentive) bug can be a pain, and I'll try to kill him off sometime. Really though, I'm not anal retentive at all unless there's some baseline for me to be comparing to. If we were in some sort of random world where someone made things up as they went along I could think of all sorts of crazy things.

I got about five sentances in, had made it just past the whole weird colored dragon thing before my brain when "WTF?!!" I backed up, re-read it, and felt my sould die a little. I was thinking "Has she lost her ever living mind? I am soooo back to Tia..." Then I realized it was a joke and started just shaking my head.

By the by, I think Nako said something about seeing weyrs where all females could clutch? Greens can clutch, provided they have never chewed firestone, which acts like a birth control.
