Lyriania sighed, sliding into a chair with her food and klah. Kiskith was quite happy in her weyr, chattering constantly to her while she ate.
~Mine?~ Kiskith asked, Lyriania jumped, shards!
"Yes Kiskith?" She asked softly, blowing on the klah to cool it before taking a sip. Shards she was tired, Kiskith was always so full of energy, it was draining.
~You are tired. I was wondering where the mini-me was~ Kiskith giggled, making her rider laugh.
"I'm not sure."

Flier landed on her shoulder, utterly exhasted. Lyra laughed, scratching his eye ridges,
"Found one. Do you know where Lil'Bit is?" She asked both her dragon and the flit. Flier chirped, snuggling into her neck, miming sleeping.
~She is sleeping mine. On your bed.~ Kiskith muttered moments later. Lyra leant back slightly, that put her midn at rest.. Slightly.

Whistling, Tyl'sai entered the kitchens, riding jacket draped over one arm as he grabbed himself a plate and loaded in with sandwiches. He was simply starving! He and Wrenayth had just gotten back from patrol, and since he hadn't had time for breakfast, he was making time for lunch. There was no way he'd go without a meal twice in a row. Once he had his food, he grabbed a glass of fruit juice an ambled over to a table, this one already housing a rider. The Bluerider recognized her from the flitt hatching and searched his mind for a name. "Oh! Good afternoon, Lyriania!" he said as he plopped down beside her, setting his jacket aside. He lifted up a sandwich and sank his teeth into it, savoring the flavor. He swallowed then let out a sigh of contentment. "Oh, food, how I adore thee!" he exclaimed dramatically.

Lyriania looked up as her name was called, a smile lighting her face.
"Afternoon Tyl'sai." She murmured, taking another drink from her kalh. Flier chose that moment to show an interest in her food and Lyra had to pick him up.
"Kisk kindly tell flier to stay out of my lunch." She laugehd, Kiskith made a surprised sound
~But you just did mine. I don't need to repeat that.~ She said, giggling, Lyra sighed
"Yes but he might actually listen to you." She muttered, taking a bite out of her own sandwhich, almost laughing at Tyl'sai's comment about food.

Aade walked at a leisurely pace down a hall in the Lower Caverns in the general direction of the dining hall. She was accompanied by a series of chirrups from a small firelizard gliding excitedly on blue wings. This was the first she had seen of the little creature for at least a sevenday, having disappeared after taking offense to her chiding, and of course he would show up when she was about to have lunch. She never understood how he knew when she was intending to eat but he always seemed to show up at that moment, chittering knowingly at her. Where there was food there was Araki.

She was glad to see the little flitt, however, after beginning to worry she had chased him away for good. He had been a present from her mother and would have felt guilty at losing him, and about losing a constant friend. He kept her company on lonely days.

The greenrider made a stop at the kitchen first, warning her fire lizard to stay clear of the food lest he be beaten down by the kitchen help, portrayed through mental images of gruesome detail. Naturally, he obeyed. But merely on the condition he would receive treats from his bonded. Aade snagged a plate, loaded it lightly with a couple bubbly pies (sinfully her favorite food), a few meatrolls and a cup of hot klah then headed into the dining hall, already occupied by a couple other riders. She approached them casually, Araki chirping a greeting to the other of his kind.
