When Iolath gets flown and rises.. should there be a queen egg? I'm not sure if I should or not.. Also, if I do, should I wait until we have a decent amount of players before actually having the hatching so I can get a feel for who would be good prospective queenriders? In this Weyr, being a queenrider will be an honor that will not be easy to attain. Please give reasons for your opinion =)

I don't really have an opinion on the queen egg one way or another, but I think it's a good idea to wait until we have a good number of candidates and active members before starting the hatching. That way things aren't as likely to die off in the middle of the hatching or something and leave everyone wondering what the hell we're going to do next.

I say for the first hatching, no egg. Get everything established before you do that, which means having at least one hatching without a new queen.

I'm in favor of holding off on the queen egg until membership numbers are up and we have a number of committed people who are willing to stick it out. Then we're ready to have more than one queen at a time.

No queen egg for the first hatching, since you won't know yet who's truly dedicated to waiting for that honor if it's only been the first Clutch.
