Just Chugging Along
I was trying to give the party time to flourish, but I'm not sure how interested anyone is. Also.. Searching. Is ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED? I have blueriders as well and can do searching. JUST MESSAGE ME x_x

I've been busy, as you guys might have guessed, but I'm trying to find time at LEAST once a week to post to everything. My job is going to be throwing 20-25 hours on me since someone quit so bear with me.

The Hatching
I'm thinking sometime early to mid May. How does that sound to everyone?

Writing/Art Contest!!!!
I will be holding a writing and art contest. There will be a first, second and third place to each of these. You will be graded on creativity and quality of the art and literature. No poems, please.

For the Writing Contest, here are the prizes.. RANKING POSITIONS!!!
1st Place: Master of the Craft you Choose
2nd Place: Lord or Lady Holder of either Hurricane Hold or Tregad Hold!
3rd Place: Established Journeyman/woman of Craft of your Choosing

Art Contest:
1st Place: Either Master of the art Hall of a new Hold in Kharasi's boundaries OR Lord or Lady Holder of the new Hold (Will be art based of crafts of luxury like sculptures, stone and metalcrafting of jewelry and such)
2nd Place: The position that 1st place doesn't choose
3rd Place: Established Journeyman of the Art Hall.


The Rules:
Whether you draw it or write about it, it has to be one of your characters, or a character of Kharasi Weyr. If it is the writing part, it HAS to be your character, or a fictional character (like a drudge or other NPC) that is not owned, but is stationed in Kharasi Weyr. If it is art, it has to be a person, firelizard, or dragon already existing in Kharasi Weyr. Feel free to draw my characters =D

Also, ANY CHARACTER CREATED FOR THESE PRIZES MUST BE ACCEPTED PRIOR TO RPING. Because I have to make sure you are following the rules.

I do need to have my character searched eventually. I might post sometime on the weekend/early next week.

I check in every day, but I'm currently completely drained. I'll get some posts up as soon as I don't feel like crawling under my covers and dying :P

As for the Hatching, I have huge exams all May, but my easier ones are earlier on, so if anything, I vote early May.

The contest sounds fun, but I wouldn't want to win ^^;

I'd just write or draw for fun.

You can always draw stuff to put on the website's art page, Shade =D That goes to everyone. I'd love to have art of characters, dragons, and other stuff there. *glee*

Mmm... Sounds fun! I'm gonna have to go to my mom's house where I have a scanner... BTW, how many pieces can we submit? Also, whens the deadline, or did I just overlook it?

Um.. no deadline as of yet .. probably a month or so XD How many pieces? Erm.. you can do multiple ones I suppose XD It's not like it would necessarily increase your chances since you can't win twice in the same little section.. thing.

It's all good... I know of at least one good drawing of Laris I have hidden in a drawer... Somewhere... It may take me a month just to find the dratted thing! :)

I am reeeally bad at drawing and writing, so the competition isn't for me, I'm rooting for anyone else though.

I don't plan that far ahead, so May sounds cool to me.

My chars are in my siggy and Aasera and Kaiser if they get accepted.

I've just got the one char at present (H'sen and his brown dragon) with no plans to introduce a new one anytime soon.

If I survive the end of finals I may find the time to come back to activity. But alas, no contest for me. My creative juices are being drained far too much by taking multiple creative writing courses at once (not a good idea, and technically it shouldn't have happened) and having to finish up portfolios for Friday. Then I have exams on Saturday and next Monday, after which I am free of schoolwork until the fall. Huzzah for that one.
