((Feel free to jump in if you want, I am mainly writing this for my own pleasure!))
"Hey, goofball! What do you think your doing?!!" Nirva flinched at the loud voice, coming so suddenly from behind her. She turned slowly, her face turned down but watching the stranger from beneath her long lashes. "Me?" she asked, her voice high and light.
"Who else?" said the stranger, a pudgy girl with black hair and square bangs. Her round nose was wrinkled in displeasure, nearly snarling at the bewhildered Nirva. "You took my cot!"
Surprised, Nirva glanced quickly to the cot, then back again st the other Candidate. "I did not!" she said, her face flushing. Normally she was very shy about meeting someone for this first time, but the injustice of the situation woke her more... tempermental side.
"Did so, stupid brat! My bag is right there!" The girl pointed to a carryall that slumped drunkenly on the floor, poised equidistantly between the cot Nirva had chosen and an empty one to its right. Nirva pointed this out imidiately. "I'm not stupid, your stupid! Take that one!"
"I dont want that cot, I want this one!"
Recognising his sister's voice, Eonki warily entered the girls barracks. He wasn't sure he was allowed to be here, but he wanted to make sure his sister wasnt up aginst something she couldn't handle. He was startled to see her staring down a girl that was neck and sholders taller than her, and it seemed that thus far she was holding her own. Nirva's fists were balled at her sides, as were the stranger's, and both girls were fairly bristling with anger. They screamed names at each other, the resulting din not unlike that in a wherry pen. Eonki walked slowly over and stood to the side, not really sure what to do.
Nirva spied her brother imidiately, her eyes going wide then narrowing with a smug confidence. Her arm flung out, a single finger pointing unwaveringly to her brother. "Eonki! Tell her its mine!"
"What's yours?" he asked, quite confused at this point. Both girls answered him at once "The cot!" They stared at each other, growling, and said again in tandem "Its mine!" Their repetitive unison only drove them to greater fits, and they both stepped toward each other. "Stop copying off of me!!!" This, of course, was spoken by both girls at again the same time, and seemed to take the wind out of their sails. The stared at each other in stunned confusion, while Eonki laughed heartily.
He wiped a tear from his eye. "Okay, okay, why do you both want this cot?" The girls stared at each other for a minute, each scared to see if the other would merely say the same thing. Unable to stand it anymore, the black haired girl broke first. She pointed. "Its right beneath the window!" Eonki considered the problem. The girls, meanwhile, were exhausted from their spat and more than content to simply stare each other down.
Eonki shrugged. There was an easy solution to this. Firmly grasping the footboard of the wooden cot, he dragged the two cots together, arranging them until the window was perfectly alined above the juxtaposed cots. Shaking the dust off of his hands he grabbed his sister and threw her onto one bunk, the tossed the stranger without ceremony onto the other. "Now," he said sternly. "You both get the window. And, you both get a bed twice as big as everyone else!" That said, he spun on his heel and strode from the room.
The girls watched him leave in a stunned silence, then looked at each other. "I dont want to share a bed with you!" Nirva piped up.
"And I dont want to share a bed with you! You probably have bugs! What are you, eight?" Nirva went red from collarbones to forehead. "I do not have bugs, and I'm twelve! I'm just small!" She looked at the other girl curiously. "How old are you anyway?"
The girl blushed. "I'm sixteen, I'm just big." The two looked at each other and cackled madly, laughing until tears ran down the sides of their faces. "Im Nirva," said the smaller, offering her hand. "I'm Marowa," said the black haired girl taking it with great ceremony. Finally in accord, the two leapt from their bed and began unpacking.

Eonki wandered from the girls' barracks, shaking his head and trying to keep from laughing. If he knew his sister, this girl would probably be her new-found pet, dispite her obvious status as the elder of the pair. He flung himself prone on his bed and stared at the ceiling. His body was still slightly sore from the ride to the weyr: He hadnt realized that riding a dragon used such strange groups of muscles, simply to keep ones seat! It wasn't like riding a runner at all!
There were few boys in the barracks, and he wondered where everyone else was. Probably at lessons, or some such event. Being his first day, he still hadnt quite figured out the pattern to life at the Weyr. It seemed eveyone knew instinctively what had to be done, and he made a mental note of the other boys with looks of panic on their faces. He would know soon enough if these boys were new, like him, or if they were just slow to catch on.
((Might write more later, or someone can jump on this... Im not really sure where I was going, I just felt the need, you know?))

"You called me a snob! How can that not be an insult?" Acacia snapped angrily, as Caeser chittered above her head, swooping the other girl occasionally.
"All I meant was you need to loosen up!" Tracey replied in the same heated tone, both girl looked about ready to tear each other apart, but they'd reached the barraks. And it seemed they weren't the only ones fighting.
"See? You caused them to fight!" Tracey snapped and Acacia frowned, how by the first egg was that possible?
"How int eh name of Faranth could I do that?"
"You wish you lived back then don't you? It's the only chance you'd have at a queen!"
"Don't change the sharding subject!" Acacia snapped, refusing to let the fact it had stung to show. She never expected to Impress, especially not a queen, but to be told so bluntly.... Caeser popped between suddenly, and reappeared on Acacia's shoulder, sounding pleased. The sound of footsteps made Tracey swear.
"You told on me! When it's all your fault! That sharding lizard of yours!"
"He didn't do anything!" Acacia jumped to her flitt's defense.
Crys wanted to shrink away from the angry voices, instead pressed on.
"I-is something w-wrong?" She asked delicately, smiling briefly, neither girl owned up and Crys sighed. Girls, most of them were so thick headed, never owning up to who started it. Thinking this, Crys tried another approach,
"Kay... W-who started it?" She mumbled, that got an reaction. Both girls pointed to each other and said in unison
"She did."
