Personality: Brawn and brains, that pretty well sums up K'jin. Possessed of a bright and patient mind whose stamina is matched by his body, K'jin is curious, serious, decisive, and a believer in honing both physical and mental muscle to form a balanced and healthy being.
History: A Minecraft journeyman from Deep Caverns Hold, K'jin was a great friend of Stephan, the murdered eldest son of Lord Caladon and Lady Krista. Until Stephan's death and the Hold's subsequent shift of power, K'jin was engrossed in the study of more efficient engineering techniques to extract ore. After the coup, full of rage and sorrow for Stephan, K'jin resigned from the Minecraft and traveled to Tiazora Weyr, seeking answers and asylum from Krista.

The last thing he expected was to be Searched, but he was, by Leki's green Avenyth. Used to being his own master, he resisted the idea of candidacy; besides putting him under the control of another, it reduced his chances of retribution to zero. Still, he did not withdraw from the candidacy. When he Impressed, though, K'jin knew why he had remained at the Weyr. Every joy and sorrow in his life paled beside the intensity of Impressing a dragon.

K'jin was later a key player in the successful coup against Krista.

Personality: He is as fiercely independent as a dragon can be, quick to act, and full of energy, completely aware of his environment and confident of his movements through it.
