Title: Zehper
Description: The absent-minded professor

Wolfie - September 20, 2007 03:24 PM (GMT)
Name: Zehper, now Z'per of Blue Obluth
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Sexual Preference: Hetero
Rank: Weyrling

Appearance: Gangly and awkward in every way imaginable, Zehper nonetheless manages to endear himself to virtually everyone he meets. Standing at around 6'2" with messy brown hair and brown eyes, he appears to be more arms and legs than anything else, perhaps because he still hasn't quite learned how to control said appendages. He trips constantly and is known to knock over almost everything within arm-range while doing so. He has little muscle mass to speak of, and seems to be nothing more than skin and bones despite the hearty meals he wolfs down unceremoniously 3 times a day.

Personality: Zehper could best be described as the absentminded professor of the family. Always eager to learn, he tends to forget where he put anything, and leaves most undertakings half done in favor of a new project to work on. Although quick to learn and certainly quick to trip, Zehper is oftentimes slow to speak, as he prefers to think thoroughly before committing any thoughts to words. He rarely angers and is easy to befriend, given you don't mind the tumbles and crashes that accompany him wherever he seems to go.

History: Zehper was born in a small cothold near Tregad that specialized in breeding draybeasts. He spent half of his time working with the stubborn animals and the other half voraciously reading whatever he could lay his hands on. He has had many hobbies over the years, including attempting to make paper from odds and ends around the house, carving random branches he finds around the trees, and drawing whatever strange things come to mind. Few of these undertakings tended to turn out well. His paper-making exploits came to an end when his ever-suffering yet patient mother discovered he had commandeered her favorite handkerchief in the hopes that it would somehow yield white paper in the end. His 'woodworking' ended rather abruptly after he almost lost a thumb after losing concentration while trying to carve a dragon, and his crudely done drawings were usually unfinished, due to the unfortunate habit of Zehper misplacing every writing instrument he happened to come by. But despite his absentminded ways and his tendency to trip over and demolish anything he passed by, Zehper was usually much-loved by the cothold in general. Upon hearing her son had been Searched, Zehper's mother seemed to be more excited than the rest. It was rumored that perhaps she was relieved that she would no longer spend her days fixing what he had broken and worrying herself into early gray hair.

Family: Mother- Shiela; Father- Haral (deceased)

Dragon: Blue Obluth

Info courtesy of Nako: Tiny, and one of the weaker and smaller of the clutch, he needs to work hard to keep up with his peers. Like his name, he's a bit oblivious and absent-minded and doesn't always listen to instructions. He questions everything in the world, and even naively questions authority, but never maliciously(He'd probably never talk back to a queen though). He isn't necessarily clumsy.. in fact he's rather nimble on his feet as he grows and learns to keep his balance, but his lack of paying attention would be what would lead him to collide into things.

Fourth month, courtesy of Nako: For the longest time, he was the smallest blue, but Rovelth has quickly taken the role of the smallest. In fact, he's growing into quite the handsome blue. He's of good bone and is well proportioned on an average frame with muscle tone that is more lean than bulky. Strangely enough.. he's turning into quite the graceful dragon... much more so than his rider, anyways. He's quite thoughtful, and is keen to make connections about certain situations when he actually puts his mind to it, though generally he's too naive and oblivious to pay much attention. He's becoming quite good at 'thinking on his feet' and that is proving to be quite handy when playing with his peers. The other day, he had even keenly devised a plan in which he stepped out of the way of one of Neliyuth's tackles, sending her into the lake! She's still a little annoyed about that, by the way..
