This one is mainly for eventual Thyra Hold drama, and while I dont think he'll end up being a Candidate (mainly due to prejudice against Dragonriders) but we shall see how things pan out...
By the by, I can flesh this out more if someone could tell me the names of the Lord Holder and kin... I combed the site, but I can't find the info, and I dont even know if it's been determined yet.
Name: Xavier
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Sexual Preference: Bisexual, tendancy towards heterosexual
Appearance: Xavier is about 5'11", taller than most females, but around average for a male. With his whipcord thin legs, waist, and torso, his broad sholders stray close to the comical, yet instead grant masculinity to his otherwise effeminate figure. Xavier has a long, graceful neck topped by a triangular face and windblown, white-blonde hair. He has thin, pale pink lips, and a long thin nose hooded by light grey eyes. He is normally, given choice, immaculately clean and polished, well-dressed and coiffed.
Personality: As far as Xavier is concerned, one's life should be devoted to the arts: literature, composition, music, and sports such as fencing and riding. What-- work to be done? Thats why there are servants or drudges! Honestly, he is living proof that one can possess the best education Pern can offer, and still know nothing. And Dragonriders? That scum... Pern had a nice long break from Thread, and it just so happens that when the Weyrs are facing extinction it starts falling again? Something is fishy here... And in any case, only the nobly born should have dragons. Then each Hold could defend itself without relying on outside help from those leech-like Weyrs...
History: Being the second cousin to a Lord Holder comes with certain privilages, and Xavier has tasted them all. He is not in a direct line of succession, and so has lived a life care-free of the concerns that those who rule must face. Of course, he has entertained the fantasy, many times, of somehow being thrust into the seat of power. What noble hasn't? If all of the Lord's family were to expire, and then he could somehow distinguish himself and be named heir...? What reamins certain is that Xavier, with his hatred for dragonriders and desire for power, is a true wild card running loose. He was born in Tregad Hold, and his mother, Materna, the second cousin to the Lord Holder of Thyra, also holds a few scant familial ties to Tregad. He went to Thyra for fostering, and has remained there since, much preferring the social atmosphere.
Family: Xavier's mother, Materna, is the Lord Holder's maternal cousin.
