Appearance: Characterized by her prominant cheekbones and severe facial demensions, Alecto's harsh, brazen features perfectly compliment her personality. Her bronzey-caramel skin, lighter than her mother's and darker than her father's, is accented by her chemically bleached hair, a shade of honeyed gold that she has perfected over time. Every morning she carefully khols her eyes to add a dramatic depth, feathers on the slightest bit of rouge over her jutting cheekbones, and stains her mouth a deep, bloody wine colour. More some women, jewelry is an accent: For her, it is a past-time. She crafts her own jewelry, and would never consider wearing the work of another. Appearance means the world to her, and she is careful to sculpt her image to her mood. The only clothing she will ever wear is something she has designed and either created or commissioned herself. This might seem extravagant for a mere apprentice's stipend, yet she comes from a wealthy merchant's family, and makes a sizeable amount from her artistry. She is not overly tall for a woman, standing an average 5' 5" and weighing in at a scant 125 lbs. Alecto is well muscled from the various lifting , pushing, and bracing that her work entails, and often drives herself to her limits, often relying solely on not very subtle reminders from Mikael that it is food that powers her body, not work, and not air.

Personality: Its not that Alecto doesnt like other people... She just recognizes that she is better than most of them. Humility is not one of her strong suits, nor is acceptance of defeat. When she bites off more than she can chew she badgers the problem until it meets her requirements or needs. She will do everything-- change the materials, change her expectations, even drop the project for a few hours to pour over parchments to research a better technique to employ. But ask for help? That probably wouldn't even occur to her. Where her Master believes art is about seeking the form within the materials, Alecto believes art is about manipulating nature to acheive aescthetics. Her anger is quick to flare and difficult to appease, yet her artistic vision more than makes up for her temper. Despite the many customers she has annoyed over the years, people just keep coming back.

History: Alecto was a very competitive child who grew into a very competitive adult. She dicovered her artistic talent in her mid-to-late teens, and took to it like a fish... Well, a barracuda to water. It did not take long for her to storm into the art hall demanding an apprenticeship. In light of her talent, she was not denied.

Family: Alecto's mother, Theotes, lives very near to her, but the artist seldom visits her. Occasionally, though, her mother shows exactly where Alecto gets her "self-esteem"... By coming for a visit. She can be a very intimidating woman, but she only acts out of pride and love for her daughter.
