((Just trying to get all of this out of my system. Charrie developement, and so on))
Nirva flopped, exhausted, onto the floor. Erneth slid next to her and flopped himself, his head on his large forepaws and his back legs trailing straight behind him. He closed his eyes and sighed, falling asleep instantly. Green Zalyteth flopped next to the blue, curling neatly against his flank. Marowa flopped on the other side, and the four snuggled warmly on the stone. "Shards, I can't move anything," muttered Marowa, not opening her eyes. "They've grown so much in such a short span of time, and oiling them twice a day is brutal."
~It's not my faulth I itch...~ muttered Zalyteth, joining her blue brother in sleep. Nirva lifted one finger and scratched the Erneth on the wingtip, the only place she could reach without moving. The sleeping dragon did not stir.
"They cant help it, and it cant go on for much longer. They're bigger than us now, and within a year they will have reached full size, right? Then we will only have to oil them once a day... I hope."
"And the amount of food the eat! With the amount of weyrlings running around, I am suprised we have any werrys for three Holds around! No wonder we have to tithe..." Marowa fell silent, and for a moment Nirva wondered whether or not she was asleep. "Still," the girl muttered, startling Nirva a bit. "I wouldnt trade her for the world." Nirva smiled in the dark. It was unlike Marowa to admit to such strong emotion for... well, anything really. Most of the time she was either mad at the world or silently mooning over Nirva's brother, E'nki.
However, ever since the Impression, the girl had changed, very subtley. Her gregarious green made it impossible for the girl to stay in her shell, and her exposure to new people hadn't made her more friendly, but it had worn down the hard edge that Marowa had always seemed to cultivate.
((I'll work more on this later. If anyone else needs to work on their weyrlings jump on in.))
