Anyone watching the news the last day or two? How about the national weather? See that really big storm rolling up California (I believe it's only hitting us up here in the north, but haven't seen the news myself in a day or three)? I'm in the middle of that. Had to run out into it to do emergency "it's the tree or the house!" work a couple times already. So.. wish me luck and survival? :P (Naah, it's not that bad. 'Cept for trees threatening to crush the neighborhood because of the winds, but they should die down for the day shortly.)

Scareh! e___e I hope you don't get crushed by trees or by the storm (those winds can be pretty strong). Still, it sounds exciting. I haven't been watching the news, so I don't know much about it, other than the fact that the East is freezing and the West is getting hit pretty hard. What type of storm is it?

We just get lucky I guess. Or maybe the guys here are snarls in the web of fate and our mere presence causes natural disasters/unusual turns of fate.

At the moment, just heavy rain and high winds, with some minor flooding (I live just above some floodplains, where the rain is pooling just like it's supposed to :P). Higher in the hills I'm sure they're getting fairly heavy snowfall with their winds. Several power lines have been blown down (and not the lines, but the actual poles), trees uprooted (and not just little ones, but most of the larger ones are okay), stuff like that. No real problems getting from place to place yet, my household is equipped with a Jeep =3. Storm is supposed to be done by Monday, but by the looks of the clouds, tomorrow may be the worst of it.

Edit: On a side-note, I keep wondering which mountain around here Yog-Shothoth is supposed to come out of, 'specially with weather like this XD *digs for a spare Elder Sign*
