The Setup
On the side of the Weyr nearest the entrance to the lower caverns, the clothing, jewelry and similar personal wares are slightly southward. Northward it turns into food and entertainment varying from games to raffles and even gambling. There are places for foods of almost every imaginable kind. This is more northward, toward the lake. Over the river that traces down the middle of the Weyr, a bridge leads to the area where livestock, large farming tools, appliances and basically 'business' equipment is sold. Also large quantities of tanned leather and cured wood and things of the like are. This is pretty much for the farmers and Holders who have need of them can buy. On this side is also a bunch of dragonrider specific items like harnesses, jackets and the like will be. The dancing area will be on the right side nearest the lower cavern entrance is, past the food and near the lake shore. This is a large area and has been moderately prepared with seating, tables and a platform for performers.
If you have any particular booth in mind and you're not sure where it would go, feel free to ask. =)
Money
Every character is entitled to at least 1/4 of a mark up to 1/2 a mark. Because technically there are different types of marks and they are all worth different amounts depending on the rarity of goods they represent, I'm making the trader mark (the cartwheel on the mark) the common mark that is almost always constant.
Dragonriders: During their spare time they can work on their crafts or even work as transport service, so sometimes they have a little extra money in their pockets. Normally the Weyr will supply basic clothes and riding gear as well as harnesses, but anything fancy generally has to be bought by the rider. A rider may have 4-10 marks based on how much they have saved. Because it is in a pass and they have had problems with Thyra, it is more likely they have less marks.
Mark Sizes: 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 10. Any larger is extremely rare. Only Holders and large Craft producers have to deal with marks that size
Right now:
Trader Mark- 1 mark
Smith Craft - Roughly 25% less worth.
Woodcraft- Double Worth
Bakercraft- 25% more worth
Winecraft - 1 mark
Tannercraft- 1 mark
Harpercraft- 1/2 mark
Minecraft- 1 1/2 mark
Smith(Jewelry) - 1 mark
Weavercraft- 1 1/2 mark
Fishercraft- 1 mark
There are others, but I doubt anyone will need to use anything other than those. I'm not going to be super picky about how much things cost with you guys, but I kind of want to give people an idea.
In any craft, anything simple and decently made in the way of jewelry, simple shoes, belts and the sort will cost about a mark of its respective currency. It typically goes up to nearly 3 marks based on quality, and possibly up to four marks so keep that in mind.
In jewelry, a bracelet made of semi-precious stones or a necklace made of beads or a cheap stone like agate or quarts will cost about a mark. It goes up accordingly.

Food and entertainment
A person can buy 6 bubbly pies for 1/32 of a mark. They may receive a pie or two less if it's a trader mark or a lower priced mark.
Generally a glass of wine will cost about 1/8 of a mark for a decent quality.
Think in the way of bubbly pies for any snacky foods be it meat or anything other than a full meal.
A sit down meal with non-alcoholic drink will cost about 1/16 to maybe a sixteenth piece and a thirty second piece.
Most betting areas and games will cost a Thirty-Second piece to a Sixteenth piece for a few tries.
Bartering
This can be some of the most fun to a Gather. Most people will try to get as much for their money be it by a bat of some pretty lashes or a quick wit to whittle down the price to something more affordable. Because of this, I imagine that there is about a window of 25% that can be haggled, though often this gap is much less in the snack and food industry. You might be able to get a piece or two extra instead of actually getting a discount. The gamblers and people that run any games will usually be extremely set on their prices since they are already low.
Okay guys, this is just to give you guys ideas. I'm going to be lenient with the money thing but I don't want anyone going buck-wild, and keep in mind Weyrlings don't have much, and any pocket money they may have has probably been sent by their parents (Same with candidates!) so for all the characters with no family or not getting along with family... keep that in mind when you tally up marks.
:) I'm excited to get a few posts up. *prods thinking thingy* ...eventually lol
Oh yes, and the BEFORE Gather and AFTER Gather stuff can be posted at any time! Just be sure to note in every post what time of day it is. *goes to make sure all hers are marked properly*
