Hi my name is Proman and am from Canada.
I have been involved in Southern Gospel Music for over 40 years. My wife
(Joan Elliottt) is a Professional Gospel Solist and international recording artist. She originally started singing with her family "The Harris Family", then when that
disbanded we formed "The Elliott Family". As The Elliott Family (Joan, our daughter
Marlene and our son Tim and my self on sound) we travelled throughout Canada and into the USA. Over
the years we received numerous awards from The Canadian Gospel Music Association
but more importantly saw many come to Christ. About 18 years ago The Elliott Family disbanded. Our daughter Marlene O'Neill and Joan started solo ministries. Joan's ministry has taken her as far south as the West Indies and in Feb. 2006 she will travel to Israel. During June, July and August I do sound for a weekly outdoor concert. Every Tuesday evening we have 5-6 different groups or soloists ministering to 350 - 1000 people. Over the summer there will be 85-95 different groups or soloists on the program. Makes it interesting for a soundman.

Great to have you here, Proman. I remember the Elliot Family from the early 80's CGMA programs and always enjoyed their music. Marlene is a tremendous vocalist, the best female vocalist in Canada in my humble opinion, and her contribution to the Fall benefit concert for the family of Warren Parker was the highlight of the program. It was awesome to hear her Mom join her.
So glad you have joined us, and we hope to hear lots from you. And it's always good to have another Canadian in the ranks! :D
