The Daytona 500 is Sunday February 18. We will start our 2007 survivor season with that race. For our rookie players this year here is how the game works....
Each week you will pick three drivers and the points that each of those drivers receive will be added up for your weekly total score. The person with the lowest weekly score is out until the next round. Sounds easy huh? Well, the catch is that once you use a driver you can not use that driver again until we have crowned a winner for the round. So, in other words you have to select new drivers each week forcing you to not only pick good drivers, but to also pick the not so good drivers at the same time. Use some stategy..you only have to have enough points to beat 1 person each week in order to stay in the game. If you happen to use a driver twice during a round then you will receive a 0 for that driver position on your team that week.

It's easy Shari...you just pick three drivers...but in the midst of the "scandal" going on right now...I'm not sure who's going to be in the race.....lol

I've never paid attention to Nascar, so I may pick the three worst drivers on the face of the earth. So, I'm begging everyone.... no laughing, please. LOL I only know two names.... Earnhardt and Gordon, and that's just because I'd have to live in a cave in the middle of nowhere to not know those names.

I didn't even know that there was a scandal going on. I'll have to start paying attention. :unsure:

Do I have to have three differnt drivers than everyone else? Or can any of my drivers be the same as someone else's?

They can be the same as other players. You just can't use the same driver yourself during each survivor season (?# weeks).

Next week we are headed to California for the Auto Club 500. There will be a thread posted to put your picks in for that race. The green flag drops and 3pm Eastern time on Sunday. That is the deadline. Now, for the new players this year...you will have to pick three differetn drivers. You are not permitted to use any driver twice until the next round begins after we crown our segment champion.
