Is "fast reply" available on this board? Could it be available.... especially in the game section?

I, too, love "fast reply". As a matter of fact, in most cases, if it's available, it's all I use! :D

I am a dumb man, so excuse my ignorance....but, what is the difference in the fast reply and the regular reply?

When you click "add reply", it takes you to a different page where there are options such as smilies, font, size, color, bold, italics, underline, etc

When you click "fast reply", a box drops down at the bottom of the page to type into. MOST use this for shorter replies, or to save time. I personally just use it if it's there, because it's simpler (too much complication confuses me :P )

Fast reply seems to take longer to post than regular posting for me. I get impatient and end up double posting. Does anyone else have this problem with fast reply?

Patti, I just tried fast reply and it seemed to be working rather fast for me.

It may be the browser I'm using. I'll try with another and see. It just sits there until I hit "add reply" again and then it posts twice....but I'm a little impatient anyway...maybe I just think it's too slow.... :giggle:

I just tried fast reply with Firefox browser. It's definitely quicker than when I use Avant browser. But I don't think some of the other options work as well with Firefox.....oh well.....minor problems....

Patti, I had troubles with Firefox on this site, so I had to swith to Internet Explorer, and it works fine.........although I never use the fast reply.
