Title: Hit or History Classics
Description: Week #46
JohnCBoy - February 19, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
Welcome to Hit or History Classics.
This week, we're going to continue to use our new format, but still a bit differently.
Albert E Brumley was one of the finest and most prolific song writers in gospel music history. Today, let's choose our favorites between these Brumley classics:
I'll Fly Away
and
I'll Meet You in the Morning
Thanks for playing Hit or History Classics!

I'll Meet You in the Morning gets my vote!

I'll meet you in the morning.
As far as I know, no one has ever sung that while flapping their arms and doing the funky chicken.

After going to the Brumley sing a few times, and hearing every group sing "I'll Fly Away" two or three times a night (maybe a slight exaggeration), I'm going to have to go with...
I'll Meet You in the Morning
but I still love "I'll Fly Away" too
Harvester's Pal - February 20, 2007 03:12 PM (GMT)
without question
Meet You in the A.M.

Meet You In The Morning
...although hearing Tim Lovelace do "Away Fly I'll" is pretty funny :D

Am I the only person who's going to vote for "I'll Fly Away"???????
JohnCBoy - February 20, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
I'll vote for it, Father! :P
