Description: Favorite Team or Teams

I live in ACC country and our conference tournament started yesterday. Some real close games yesterday. Wake Forest and Ga. Tech went to double OT last night with Wake winning in the last 20 seconds of the game. My Tarheels play today and that is who I'm rooting for in the NCAA tourney.
GO HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheergirl: :D  :smiley wave:

I'll second that, BaldTenor. Go Heels!

I'm a big Duke fan, and have been since the late 70's...
Since they lost last night, I am pulling for Virginia Tech now. I live about 30 minutes from their campus.
The Tarheels have as good a chance as anyone to win it all again this year.

I knew there was some reason we were friends!
. . . and although I hate to admit it, but I was about to jump through the TV set last night during the NCSU/Duke game!
Just couldn't stay up and watch the GaTech/Wake game.
It seems like playing in Tampa is a mistake. Tampa is a great place for a quartet, but not the ACC tourney.

JCB, And all these years I thought it was our mutual respect for each other's intellect that made our friendship flourish.   I agree the ACC tourney needs to be played in Greensboro not Tampa. More quartets need to sing in Greensboro too... :D

Well, the Illinois Fighting Illini are stinking it up this year, and they are who I would normally root for..... but the Southern IL Salukis had a great year. Go Salukis!

Well, Illinois is not what they were a couple of years ago, but they aren't anywhere close to "stinking it up". They actually won two more games (23) than Virginia Tech........their first opponent.
It should be interesting, Shari...........if the Illini beats the Hokies, and the Salukis win their game............they will play each other on Sunday.
Which one would you be rooting for then?

Well...I always cheer for Illinois and when they are no longer in it I will cheer for the Big 10.....gotta stay loyal to our conference!!! I like Southern too...but I wonder how good they would be in the played in the Big 10, Big East or the PAC...
