The Sunshine Boys performed at the GOGR. It pleased me to see our own John Crenshaw up there filling in with them. Way to go, JohnBoy!

I have seen a really good picture of them onstage, and I am hoping we can convince John to post it here for all of us to see.

Eddie Wallace told me that when he found out that Bobby would not be able to make the GOGR to sing with the Sunshine Boys, another fellow told him to get John C. to fill in and that John C. knew all the "old" songs...and apparently he does. Good job John C........

It was a joy to see and hear my dear friend, John, sing with the Sunshine Boys at GOGR! John, you did an excellent job. Once again you were available and ready exactly when you were needed to assist one of Gospel Music's true legends. You are appreciated!

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. It was a thrill to sing with those gentlemen. I've been a Sunshine Boys fan for even longer than the GOGR existed, and yes, I do know a lot of old songs. The only way that happens is when you get OLD.

Here's another legend that let me accompany him. I love hearing Gerald Williams sing "Old Man River".
