Title: Monday trivia
Description: brothers all are we
JohnCBoy - October 8, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
We got the children married Saturday and spent Sunday recovering. Guess I'm back for a while now.
The group pictured below was always said to be "ahead of their time" in gospel music.
What is the name of this trio and what are the names of the members?

oooooh...was this the Goss Brothers? Lari and his brother who plays the bass and the other brother whom I believe is deceased?
I could google but what fun is that?

Lari, Ronnie, and James. They were way ahead of their time! What arranging!
lindasholar - October 8, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Lari is on the left, James in the center, Ronnie on the right. James is deceased.

Welcome back John.
Please don't forget to tell us the answer to Friday's trivia and let us know who that gospel group is on the SN cover.

Real TALENT...TALENT...TALENT
And IMO that's the ingredient that is missing in so many of the groups of today..

If I am not mistaken, James was killed
in an auto accident.
lindasholar - October 11, 2007 10:50 PM (GMT)
I thought it was a plane crash. But that was during my hiatus from SG, so I got my information second hand. And we didn't have the Internet then to help us find current news.
JohnCBoy - October 12, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
I think a plane crash is correct, Linda.
Harvester's Pal - October 15, 2007 02:12 PM (GMT)
I wasn't sure, but I did know that
it was an accident of some type.
One other comment!!!
Amen, Popsy
With the technology that is available
today, if you can make a sound, you
can put out a decent sound track.
It may cost you more for all the
editing that would be required, but
you can still get it done.
But let the same ones do it on stage
without STACK traks. That will separate
the men from the boys.
