I love the classic gospel song "The Lord Accepted Me." I was listening to it over and over the other day, and was trying to determine one of the words in the chorus. "I'd been so _____ and low. I started not to go. But what do you know, the Lord accepted me." Can someone fill in the blank? Thanks.
