Probably the best at singing and playing
at the same time. It's harder to do two
things at the same time. Believe me, I'm
still trying.
He is probably rivaled only by Danny Koker.
"Rivaled" is not the appropriate word. Maybe
"Equaled". We don't need rivalries in gospel
music, even though that has been there in
different situations.

David Reese was a multi-talented fellow...vocalist, pianist, song writer and comedian....

Hidee Y'all,
I am truly blessed to have many wonderful memories of seeing and hearing David Reece at the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion! If it were not for Charlie Waller and GOGR, I'm sure I would have never had the privilege of experiencing David's great talent in person! He was an incredibly talented individual. One of my favorite memories is of watching and listening while he and "Tiny" Jack Taylor swapped stories in the atrium at the Greenville Hyatt one year. We laughed until we thought we would die!!
