Nothing cooks as good as the picture looks.

Everything takes longer than you have.

Left to themselves, things tend to go from burnt to burnter.

Anything that can go rotten will be.

If an ingredient can't be substituted, it will be empty.

It is impossible to make dinner foolproof when fools are cooking it.[/B]
