Title: Devotional: Week Of 11/26/2007 Description:Isaiah 45:12

Isaiah 45:12- "I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded."
This weekend, I had the chance to visit the new Creation Museum in Kentucky. A lot of work has gone into the building of this place, and its focus is on creation and how we can see God in all aspects of it.
Overall, I came away having learned some new things that I wasn't aware of before. It was good to be able to learn things that will help me as I seek to defend the Bible and to accurately teach it to those under the sound of whatever ministry God has called me to. However, I also came away with a complete sense of awe at the wonder of creation itself and of our God the Almighty Creator.
It was awesome to have it brought home so clearly to me that our Heavenly Father put so much thought and effort into creating us and our world. It's one of many things that impresses upon my heart how much my Father truly loves me and how important I really am to Him. It's also a reminder of how powerful our God is- he created everything by just speaking it into existence. If you look, you can see His hand in so many things.
What am I getting at here? Simply that, as I talked about last week, we have a God who is so worthy of our thanks and gratitude. He has done so much for us, both that we know about and that we don't know about. He took the time to create the world that we live in. He took the time to create each of us individually. And when Satan's temptation caused mankind to mess up His wonderful creation, He created a way for us to be reconciled to Him. I'll say it again, we serve a wonderful and awesome God who is worthy of all our praise. Let us never fail to give Him thanks for all of His goodness and mercy towards us.
