Title: Thursday trivia
Description: singing with Hamill

JohnCBoy - December 6, 2007 08:19 AM (GMT)
Trying to list the groups that the late Jim Hamill sang with has proven to be a rather unweildy task.

As best I can tell, Hamill performed at four of the first five National Quartet Conventions . . . and each year he was with a different group!

I don't think Hamill was a part of the 1958 convention, but he did sing in 1957, 1959, 1960, and 1961.

List the groups he sang with each year.

My guess would be Weatherfords, Blue Ridge, Oak Ridge, Rebels.

This question is a little more difficult than it may appear on the surface. JakeFanatic, you have a couple of groups correct.

Any more guesses, folks?

How about the Foggy River Boys?

Dean

That's one of them, Dean. What was the year for the Foggies?

I think Foggys were 59 - Watchmen were 57

That's right, Dean.
