What Gospel Music Historian became a grandfather on December 11, 2007?

Michael Logan arrived today. This wonderful new grandson weighs 7 lbs. 1 oz. and is 19" long. Both mother (John's daughter) and baby are just fine and the daddy is too.

I knew something must be going on with John when he puts a trivia question today about a contemporary Christian group.

Of all your adventures, accomplishments, and experiences, second to being a child of God, nothing will ever beat being a PA PA. Not even shaking Chiefs hand!!

Grandchildren are great, We have three and the newest one is just five months. He usually spends the day with us once a week and it is so much fun, just different being the grandparent you seem to enjoy and value the moments a little more than when you had your time as parent.

Give your wife and the parents a big hug and enjoy the moment.

Start adding a 1/2 teaspoon of corn squeezin to each bottle and he will have that strong North Carolina bass voice by the time he's 13. Then all you will have to do is teach him how to sing rythmically and wallah!! ...... You will have created your own foundation for the next generation of a great Gospel Music Quartet!!!!
