It has been announced that Bill Gaither, Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will be at NQC in 2008. What impact do you feel this will have?

I am glad they are back, it gives me a reason to visit the great hall again!

Seriously tho, say what you want, but last year there was a definite lack of 'big' groups at NQC. Years ago, there was a certain amount of excitement and awe when you went down the main aisle in the exhibit hall, that's where the 'stars' were and where the buss was. That's been missing.

Some say that's a good thing tho...

To be honest, that would not entice me to attend NQC..
As far as no big groups at NQC, IMO there are far to many "little" groups setting up in the exhabit hall...But of course, that's means more $$$ for the NQC board.
IMO if they would cut way, way, way back on the # of "small" groups that were allowed to set up, it would draw more attention to the "bigger" groups.
Put all the "big" groups in one area of the exhabit and the "little" groups in another and see where the "buzz" would be.
Don't get me wrong...there are no "little" groups when it comes to using your talents for the Lord. But there is definately a difference in the level of talent.

All I can say is...... woo hoo!!! I'm SO excited about this. I agree that there haven't been enough "big" groups there lately. I used to get so excited each year, but lately I'm more excited about seeing my message board buddies than I am about listening to the music...... not that there's anything wrong with that.... 'cause I still have lots of fun. :wub:

I am very happy about it......I like to go to NQC so I can see groups that I am not able to see in my area very often. Gaither and SSQ are two of my favorites so...now I am really looking forward to this year!!!
