Title: Clash of the Choirs

Anyone watching this?

I watched a couple of choir songs and then came back and Patti Labelle was singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and I just couldn't stand to hear what she was doing to that song. I turned the show off during that song.

My husband thought this was going to be church choirs and was shocked when he saw some of the wardrobe choices. :rollinglaughing: I won't mention what he said some of the women looked like. :o

I watched almost two whole songs last night. Dancing With the Stars...... it is not. No wonder it's only on this week, and then done.

I'll be the first to agree they weren't exactly church choirs, but I really enjoyed them....I'm so glad Nick Lachey and his choir won. You could see one of the girls saying, "Thank you JESUS" when they won and they were just all so sweet. I thought Nick was a very humble guy and so touched by the spirit of his choir. I was really hoping the Houston bunch would be better, but it was no surprise they were the first to go.

I forgot to record it last night, but I read where the Lachey bunch blew them away with "Flight Of The Bumblebee"....they showed a little clip of it tonight.

Girls....it was worth watching all the bad stuff just to hear Michael Bolton sing "When A Man Loves A Woman"..... trust me....he's still got it.....

Yes, amen! He does still have it. I turned the TV over just in time to hear them say that Michael would be singing, and I stayed to listen to that. But, that's all I saw. I'm glad to hear that Nick's choir won. I like him.

I was rooting for Lachey...I thought his
choir was best all around. I have to agree
with Patti....when Michael Bolton sang
"When a Man Loves a Woman" I melted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
