Was the Hawaiian concert a success?

I don't know, Mike. I wasn't there.

For that matter, neither were the Inspirations, Blackwood Brothers, or Stamps!

Guesses

Oak Ridge Boys and Speer Family in 1970?

Maybe the Inspirationals or the Wills Family were also on the program?

JohnCBoy - January 27, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
Norm, you're correct with your guess of the Oak Ridge Boys. There was one other group on the program that hasn't been mentioned.

Some of the finest harmony you will ever hear was on the early 4 Galileans LP's. those guys could sing and blend.

Ben Pegues - January 29, 2008 02:31 PM (GMT)
The Galileans are still active and singing in the Texas area. The personnel, songs, and blend have not changed much in the past 40 years.
