Pictured below is a very rare gospel recording.

Who is the group that released this recording?

Why is it considered to be so rare?

I have never seen this cover but from the songs on there I would guess that this could be by The Golden Gate Quartet.

Jordanaires

The Jordanaires is the correct group, James.

I dont know if this is the answer you were looking for, but one reason why its so rare is because it was reproduced as a 10" record.

That's the answer I was looking for, OLV.

Not many of those 10" recordings were released, and they are very difficult to locate.

How's the singing?

JohnCBoy - January 29, 2008 03:25 AM (GMT)
I like it.

What's the copyright date on it?

JohnCBoy - January 30, 2008 04:24 AM (GMT)
Danny, it doesn't have a date printed on the record jacket, but I would guess it was 1951. Most of those 10" LPs were released around that time.
