Galatians 3:28- "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, ther is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
One thing that really bothers me is when people think that they're better than someone else. To me, there are not many things that are more arrogant than this. I'll admit that I have very little patience for this sort of thing, for in the family of God we are all equal.
Aren't you glad that God doesn't have a "hierarchy" amongst Christians? There's no way that God would play favorites amongst His children for any reason. We're all equal in His eyes. And if that's the case, then we should not consider ourselves superior in any way either. Scripture teaches us that God blesses humility, and we sometimes need to be reminded of this.
Let's be on guard against pride. Remember- Lucifer's original sin was considering himself superior to God. That same prideful attitude will destroy us as well if we're not careful.
