Who were the members of the Crusaders Quartet at the time of Bobby Strickland's fatal car accident?

What members of the Crusaders Quartet moved to North Carolina to form the Harvesters?

I think that would be Along with Bobby , Dickie Mathews(piano), Buddy Parker(Lead), Bervin Kendrick(Baritone), Hershel Wooten(Bass)

Bill Hefner took Bobby's place but didn't work at first

The ones that went on to form the Harvesters were Buddy Parker, Hershel Wooten and Bill Hefner

Note: I recently got some tapes of radio transcriptions that this group did and to me they had a sound much like the early Statesmen. I guess that would only be natural with Bobby and Bervin in the group.

You're correct, James. Doug Jones had taken over as bass singer at the time. Hershell Wooten came back when the group reorganized.
