This gentleman published a leather bound book of gospel songs and suggestions for professional and semi-professional gospel musicians.
This book was released around 1948 and is a very rare and desired find for the gospel music collector.
Who is he? (That should be easy)
What is the name of the book?

You know I don't know all this stuff like you SGM gurus, but is it Albert Brumley? I do know him, but not what he looks like....lol
I remember the old singing schools. I loved to watch my grandfather sing the notes instead of the words. What memories......
Is the book "Book of Radio Favorites"?

Hidee Y'all,
I agree with Rich. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting LeRoy at the GOGR. I do not own the "IT" book; however, I have enjoyed reading a friends copy over and over again. My favorite page is 110. LeRoy evermore tells it like it is! I hope one day to actually own a copy of this book; though I doubt I will ever find one!

It's a great book, isn't it Gayla.
Lee Roy was so very far ahead of his time when he wrote this book. It's filled with words of wisdom and many of his great compositions. The man was one of a kind.
