Yesterday Larry Norman passed from this life to be forever with the Lord. I realize that he was not a SG singer, but he did write a few songs that SG groups recorded. The Stamps, the Imperials, and the Statesmen did record "Sweet Song of Salvation." Also, the Oak Ridge Boys covered "I Wish We'd All Been Ready." I find it interesting that back then SG groups looked for songs not only in the SG fold, but also outside of the genre. I know that many groups recorded Andrae Crouch songs back then.
