Description: sorry, Dean. . .

I know this may embarass Dean, but it's the only question I could think of this morning. . .

What member of the Gospel Harmony Boys was at one time a member of the Happy Goodman Family?

Just back from two pleasant weeks in Savannah and Hilton Head.

As for the question, I'll say Harold Patrick. And why would Dean be embarrassed that a GHB would reach the heights of playing with the Goodmans? ;)

Hmmmmm- I bleve Dean done fell out de chair! This could be a trivia question in and of itself.

You got any money left, Norm? Hilton Head will do it to ya!

I think any of us that love the Gospel Harmony Boys might be a bit embarassed to admit it. . .

:P

You mean like this . . .

What sacred classic contains the words "someone done fell out de chair"?

Where's Dean thru all this conversation ?

I only have one old GHB album and it's right next to my Goodmans albums so I will just pick a name from it and guess, Richard Lucas

Well, Rich, I hope it doesn't get all mixed up and confustipated being on the shelf next to the Goomans. I shall pray for your GHB record that it maintain it's quartet identity.
:rollinglaughing:

Seriously, folks. . . I thought I had mentioned that Norm was correct. Harold Patrick was the correct answer.

Popsy, if I know Dean, he is probably just sitting back and grinning at our comments! :sidecap:

Vestal's gonna git ya all for pickin' on them Goodmans like that! Everybody that knows anything about southern gospel knows the Goodmans were the greatest group ever! At least in my book! ;)

adkinsdean - March 2, 2008 11:59 PM (GMT)
I didn't fall out of my chair -- but I did gasp!
Nancy - what gives you idea that I snooze in my recliner -- I just "rest" my eyes!

I understand that Harold Patrick prayed for forgiveness for his time in the "wilderness." Luckily he "rededicated" his piano skills real gospel music - a 4 part male quartet!!! LOL!!!

Dean (wide awake and laughing his gluteus maximus off)

Reminds me of some of those "World's Smallest Books" jokes. . .

John, when you get to heaven I hope they put your mansion right next door to the Goodmans! LOL! :P

JohnCBoy - March 3, 2008 12:40 AM (GMT)
I'd settle for a cabin beside Hovie and JD . . .

RichL - March 3, 2008 01:16 AM (GMT)
Speaking of Heaven, for those of you who like to read 90 minutes in Heaven is a great book with some insight to what is waiting for us.
