Title: Messy Daughters Dilemma

What would you do if you had two teenaged daughters living at home that were complete slobs? Clothes and towels everywhere, unmade beds, dirty dishes left in their rooms, and the bathroom they use is the guest bathroom – and it’s always full of wet towels and clothes, toiletries and cosmetics on the floor and counter. How would you deal with the situation?

What would YOU do?

Well, since I have no children, and of course have ALL the answers LOL...... I would ground them, take away their cell phones (which I'm sure that they have), no computer, no TV, no phone, no friends until they cleaned up their mess.

There would be NO dirty dishes in their rooms, because they would not be allowed to eat in their rooms. That's just disgusting to think of the varmints that they are probably sleeping with, with the dirty clothes and dirty dishes in their rooms. Ugh!

If that doesn't work, just call Oprah...... she'll bring in her camera crew and make a complete embarrassment out of you to the whole world.

Mercy....you've pulled a soapbox up in front of me....I have a problem with the lack of responsibility you see so often...

You probably don't want to know what I would do....I'm a bit old fashioned...I still believe in corporal punishment... :D

I'd first try to get their attention, for starters, if they had a vehicle to drive, I'd take the keys, they would be grounded, they wouldn't date, I would give them no money to spend...they wouldn't watch TV, have internet or cell phones, in other words...no privileges....and if that didn't work....that's where the corporal punishment comes in....

I raised three boys and one girl....and they were all taller and heavier than me by the time they were 12 years old....lol...but I could still put them on the floor.....and I had to occasionally....of course they say now that they just let me do it....

Now....I really am glad I don't have to deal with this at my age....

I wouldn't let them leave the house until everything was cleaned up and back in order. I can't stand mess. I like my house to be neat and clean all the time. I'm a firm believer that you should start training kids to pick up behind themselves when they are toddlers. Messiness is something I can't stand. Drive me nuts!!
