NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Popular Southern Gospel artist The Freemans made a whirlwind of media appearances last week.

The group was recently featured on the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN). The group was a part of Southern Gospel Music Celebration Night hosted by Jason Crabb (formerly of the Crabb Famiy) last Friday, February 29, 2008.

In addition to The Freemans, additional artists that appeared were The Nelons, Crabb Revival, Austins Bridge, and Ivan Parker, as well as Jason Crabb.

Darrell Freeman of the Freemans said, “We had a blast performing at TBN last week, but we always do! Everyone there did so good. We were blessed to be a part of such a great evening.”

In addition, The Freemans were recently the featured artist on “The Southern Styles Show with Rob Patz”, one of Southern Gospel’s most popular syndicated radio programs.

The show aired in syndication all across the United States and Canada from February 20-26, 2008. The Freemans spoke about their live performances, individual influences, their latest CD (Eyes On the Prize) and their current single (“Cast In the Sea”), and much more.

Rob Patz stated, “I have always been a big fan of Chris and Darrell Freeman, and it was exciting to have them as guests on ‘The Southern Styles Show’.”

The Freemans’ latest single, “Cast In the Sea”, is quickly becoming their latest hit song. The song recently debuted at #61 on the upcoming April Issue of the Singing News Top 80 and has been in the Top 10 New Releases for both March (#4) and April (#10). In addition, the song jumped from #27 to #15 in only its third week on the Top 40 Weekly Chart at SoGospelNews.com. The song is also the #5 New Release on Gospel Music News Top 100 for March.

“Cast In the Sea” is the follow-up to the record-breaking #1 hit “He Chose Me” and the ministry-oriented “I Need a Drink.” All three songs are found on The Freemans’ latest recording, Eyes On the Prize.
