KANSAS CITY, Mo. – 2nd Generation recently finished recording vocals for the group’s new release.

The up-and-coming trio finished recording vocals at the end of February in Hendersonville, Tennessee at Daywind Studio A. The new recording, titled I See a City, is slated to release this spring.

Award-winning songwriter Gerald Crabb is producing the new record for Premier Crabb Productions. The new recording features some of Nashville’s most prized studio musicians such as Jeremy Medkiff, Gary Prim, Dan Needham, Adam Crabb, and more.

I See a City was engineered by Justin Kropf and is being mixed by Trey Corley. The new album will feature a mix of new material and older songs that have played a major influence in the group.

2nd Generation’s Elaine Parks said, “These songs all have such a special message to us. We can’t wait to start singing them!”

Brenda Denney of 2nd Generation said, “We are excited about the doors that God continues to open. We have been amazed at his favor over our ministry. We have started having ‘extravagant faith’ for different needs in our ministry.”

I See a City is the follow-up to the group’s break-out album, Who Wants to Praise the Lord? That album spawned off the hit singles “Hanging On a Nail”, “When He Chose Me”, and the group’s current charting single “Trouble Me No More.”

2nd Generation’s latest single, “Trouble Me No More,” is being promoted to Southern Gospel radio through the Rick Hendrix Company.
