Title: Not Trivia, But Relevant to GM History
Description: A website I stumbled upon..

In my aimless internet surfing, I stumbled upon a website that has several OLD gospel albums available for streaming on demand. I found some by the Stamps-Baxter Qt, the old Stamps Qt (songs recorded 1925-1930), the Plainsmen, the Blackwoods, the Memphians, the LeFevres, and others.

One interesting find, there is a gospel album by Thurl Ravenscroft. Thurl is famous for being the voice of Kellogg's Tony the Tiger ("They're great!") and for doing a lot of voice work for Disney theme park attractions (the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc).

The website can be found here.

I used the search function and couldn't locate this info on the boards. I apologize if it's already been mentioned and I missed it.

Enjoy!

Hidee Y'all,
Scot, thank you for the link. I love Thurl Ravenscroft. He also sang the theme song for the animated version of The Grinch; however, he did not receive any credit in the first airings!

I am pleased that this wonderful website was found and enjoyed. Ethan Banks is the developer of Sacred Music Preserved. Streaming audio involves many sacred and gospel recordings. A representative collection came from my vast library, including the ones mentioned here. Enjoy and God Bless!
