Title: Tick-Tock-Q March 26

Kattie E - March 27, 2008 12:12 AM (GMT)
As tempting as it is, No Googling please.

QUESTION: Your skin is dry and flaky. What kitchen item should you massage it with?

JohnCBoy - March 27, 2008 12:41 AM (GMT)
Not sure if it's the meat tenderizer or the mixmaster . . .

(obviously, I didn't Google it! :rollinglaughing: )

CanChik - March 27, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
Yogurt?

pattipagewhite - March 27, 2008 02:04 AM (GMT)
olive oil?

JohnCBoy - March 27, 2008 02:07 AM (GMT)
Goodness, I thought she meant like a utensil . . . like maybe an egg poacher? How about a waffle iron?

Ever had a massage with a cast iron skillet?

Ungoogly yours,

JCB

Kattie E - March 27, 2008 05:01 AM (GMT)
Well, these all seem to be good answers, just not quite the right one yet. Again Lorr, you have the warmest answer here.

JCB, I don't think I want to have rough skin around you lest I might get whacked with an iron skillet. :babyha:

Oatmeal

Oatmeal

no, oatmeal is not the answer we're looking for although I believe it is used for these same skin ailments.

You and Lorr are on the right track with yogurt and butter.

quartetlover - March 27, 2008 04:57 PM (GMT)

pattipagewhite - March 27, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
condensed milk?

cottage cheese?

sour cream?

Kattie E - March 27, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
no on cream cheese, although it is in the dairy family and Patti, you are kind of close to it, some women have been known to take a bath in it :girl:

pattipagewhite - March 28, 2008 12:05 AM (GMT)
plain milk?

You are correct Miss Patti!

It was just milk. :D

All of you make this so fun! :smiley wave:

JohnCBoy - March 28, 2008 02:33 AM (GMT)
Hmmm . . . I generally think of a kitchen item as being a spoon or a spatula . . . and that milk would be a cow item or a refrigerator item.

I suppose my lack of Googling talent is making me look rather goofy!

:whistling:

CanChik - March 28, 2008 10:27 AM (GMT)
Well, I've heard of using yogurt and honey, and actually I've used oatmeal...
Olive oil makes sense...

But just milk alone???

hhmmmmm

Didn't Cleopatra used to bath in milk?
