Title: Monday trivia
Description: who's in the group?

JohnCBoy - March 31, 2008 11:35 AM (GMT)
Who are the current members of the Florida Boys?

(and if you need to Google to find the answer, I'd suggest you read this fine article about the group found on Alan Kendall's blog. In fact, it's good reading whether you need to Google the answer or not!)

Vinyl making a comeback

But will they ever be 3 for $5.00 again?

LP's didn't decline in production in Europe (particularly Britain) compared to the U.S. In fact, it's still common to find new LP's in British stores. They are of higher quality, being of heavier and higher quality than the last generation of U.S. vinyl.

To get an idea of how much vinyl has re-gained in popularity, take a look at the turntables available from www.needledoctor.com , and notice some of them are in the upper four-figure to $10,000 area, which doesn't include the cartirdge, which you can also spend as much as a few thousand on.

I've got a bunch I'll let you have "3 for $5" - but they may not be Plainsmen!

LOL Dean. I already have a bunch of those!!!

Good article Alan. I enjoy your blogging.

I could answer the question now but I'm waiting for my friend down in Mineola, TX to wake up.

I was at the studio for about 3 or 4 hours one day while these guys were recording. I think a lot of people are gonna be pleasantly surprised (if you like the old Florida Boys standards) at what Charlie, Buddy, Chip, Dustin and Joshua have done in putting this group together.

I'm glad somebody finally answered this. Thanks, Wayne.
