Nashville, TN - Popular multi-talented recording artist, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver is enjoying quite a bit of success on radio stations in the Southern Gospel and secular country market, as well. Recently, Crossroads Entertainment released “Help Is On The Way” to Southern Gospel radio stations nationwide, and the song made it’s debut on The Singing News Top 80 Chart at #41. The Chart will appear in the publication’s May issue. The single marked the debut release from Lawson’s most recent recording by the same title. Additionally, the single sat atop the United Gospel Bluegrass Top 10 weekly internet-only radio chart for three straight weeks during the month of March. The United Gospel Chart is compiled by Caraway Media Group.


Help Is On The Way debuted this week (April 2) at #13 on the Nielsen Soundscan Top 100 Sales Chart for Christian/Southern Gospel Music after hitting stores last Tuesday, and the group’s previous release, He Lives In Me, has now been on the Nielsen Soundscan Sales Chart for 110 consecutive weeks.


In addition to the recent success of “Help Is On The Way,” Lawson’s “Sadie’s Got A New Dress,” released by Rounder Records, was the Number One song on CMT’s Pure 12 Pack for the week of March 17. The song sat at the number two spot the week before, prior to moving to the top spot the following week.


Lawson is recognized as one of the Bluegrass music’s most celebrated musicians, having released nearly 40 recordings to date. The group has been honored with Vocal Group of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association for the past seven years, as well as the IBMA’s Gospel Performance of the Year for the past three years.
