NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Song Garden Music Group recording artist The Webbs (formerly the Rick Webb Trio) will be performing for the Gospel Music Convention of Scotland this weekend.
“We are very excited about singing for Gospel music lovers in Scotland,” mentioned Rick Webb. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us, and we are expecting a fantastic trip!”
Scheduled for May 2-4, 2008, the event will take place in the beautiful Leisure Centre in Fraserburgh, Scotland. This is an annual event that present artist from the United States along with ministry groups from the country of Scotland.
In addition to the Webbs, other artists from the United States that will be appearing include LordSong and Allison Durham Speer.
The Gospel Music Convention of Scotland will be celebrating their tenth year of ministry this year. Each year has brought its own unique style and atmosphere to the convention, and this year is expected to be no different.

The Webbs are seeing a strong early response from radio for their latest single, “Hallelujah to the Lord.” “Hallelujah to the Lord” is the debut single from The Webbs’ highly anticipated recording, Family Edition – the first recording from the group that will feature all members of the Webb family since the group reorganized last year.
The Webbs have been in the studio finishing up their new recording, Family Edition. A&R Director/VP for Song Garden Music Group David Staton is producing the new recording, which features a great line up of several Southern Gospel classics as well as new material. The new album is a celebration of The Webbs’ 25th year of music ministry!
