Here's another old group from out of the past. You may recognize a few of the faces.

I think Mr. Pittman was involved in several of the "Stamps" organization quartets so it's got to be one of those..but don't know which..

sorry, stevenson . . . I have a real job now and can't hang around the computer all day!
. . . and ya'll still don't have the right answer.
Let's see if I can catch up. . .
It's not a Stamps group and that's not Whitey Gleason.
It's not the All Stars.
jakefanatic is right. Gordon Hill is the bass singer.
So now we have Cat Freeman, Jack Pittman, ????, Gordon Hill, and ????.
Any other guesses?

I actually tried to call Mr. Pittman to get this answer then I remembered he was on his way to Ft Myers...

The group was called the "Four Tones".
More about them later.
JakeFanatic - May 3, 2008 11:18 AM (GMT)
Cat Freeman must have sung in about a "blue million" quartets in the 50's and 60's.
Thtat might be a good trivia question. How many groups has Cat been in?
JohnCBoy - May 3, 2008 11:32 AM (GMT)
OK, jf, I'll ask it, but I can't promise to have an answer!
