Dottie Rambo, legendary singer, songwriter, and a member of the SGMA Hall of Fame lost her life early this morning in a bus accident.

That is sad to hear. Dottie Rambo is one of my three favorite songwriters of all time. It is always sad to see one of the legends pass away, particularly in that way. My prayers are for her family today.

I am really sorry to hear this. SGM has lost an incredible talent.

I know Dottie is in a better place, but I am very sad to see her leave us. She was getting back on track. It has been so good to see her get back to performing during the past few years. Her music has made a great impact upon me and will continue to do so.

Dottie was one of my favorite singers and songwriters.. I'll miss her.

This is very sad news. Dottie has written so many wonderful songs, with some great lyrics.

This happened about 20 miles from my home around 2:00 a.m. The tornadoes that came through this area and killed over 12 people, including a family of 5 in their car on the way to a wedding, happened several hours before this.

I know all the troopers around here and could find out exactly what happened, but I don't think the how or the why really matters.

Her songs touched me as a young man and have stayed with me throughout my life.

She just fell asleep and woke in God's new heaven. Thats all that matters.

Our hearts and prayers go out to her family as well as our thanks for having shared her with us.
