You know this was one of the first Florida Boys albums I ever bought when I was a teenager and to be honest after listening to The Statesmen and Blackwood Bros. records of the early days I was not very impressed with the Florida Boys.
Later on in the 80's when I tried to start finding some of the old Statesmen And Blackwood records someone traded me a Statesment record for the Florida Boys record. He told me that it was kinda hard to find and I think that was correct and at the time I was just glad to get another Statesmen album.
The other early Florida Boys album that I had way back was the one done at Carnige Hall and I think it was a much better record. With all due respect to Mr. Whitfield he was not the bass singer that Billy Todd is.
