During his acceptance speech Tracy Stuffle called the Crabb Family, who were also nominees, to the stage, spoke about this being their last year and presented their award to the Crabbs saying they deserved it.

When they were presenting the favorite groups, the Singing News guy (his name is slipping my mind right now) said that these groups had the same "percentage" of votes. That could be quite a large margin of actual votes.
I have my own theory that Signature Sound won the actual number of votes, and that wasn't pleasing to the SN. But, what do I know? :unsure:
I am very, very, very happy that the Booth Brothers won for favorite song of the year. I keep hoping that someday they will win the favorite trio. They rocked last week!
