Kattie E - September 3, 2008 02:28 AM (GMT)
The September updates for the SGM Radio.com website have been done. We are happy to welcome 3 new writers this month.

Kenny Bishop will be bringing us his thoughts monthly in his column, “I’ve Been Thinking…”.
Diane Needham Mummert is our newest feature writer.
Dora Pop joins as one of our new contributing writers.
We have been blessed to have some amazing writers join us to bring you their thoughts and what’s going on in southern Gospel music.

Karen Winternheimer has a second in a three part series about songwriting with the award winning songwriter and artist Jeff Steele. You can listen to Steele’s answers with the audible downloads. You can hear from the song craftsman himself how he constructs a song and lots more!

Allison Lynn sits down with Jim Brady, of the Booth Brothers, to talk about “the music and the message”. Brady talks about his influences, songs he has written and much more. You can read what the Booth Brothers do when they are stranded in a snow storm.

Lorraine Walker brings us a second part of a new series called: “The Church and the Why Generation”. This month she talks with Gerald Wolfe, Susan Kirkland and Ronald Moore. This is a fascinating and informative must read!

Diane Needham Mummert begins her series of interviews with her brother, Dave Needham of the Needhams. They talk about traveling, concerts and the effects of pain pills during a concert. This is a great start with Diane and we look forward to what she will be bringing us from “the road”.

Kenny Bishop begins his monthly column, “I’ve Been Thinking…” by talking about curiosity. This is a must read!

Dora Pop titles her very first article “Every Nation. She has recently returned from a mission’s trip to China. Dora shares her experiences during the trip. We look forward to what Dora will be sharing with us every month. Also, you will want to check out some of the pictures from her trip.

Lorraine Walker talks with Rob Patz about the 15th Anniversary of the “Southern Styles Show”. Patz shares how he got his start in SGM radio and talks about changes in SGM since 1993 when the show began. This is an absolute must read about a man with determination to bring an uplifting syndicated show to as many folks as possible because it really is a ministry to him.

Chad Hayes checks in with CD reviews for:
Apostolic Boys
Cavaliers Quartet
Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver
InnerFire
King's Heralds
Lumber River Quartet
Pfeifers
Providence Road

Thanks to our great writers for another incredible month!
