Hello folks...

My real name is Matt Smith, but most folks on message boards know me as PastorMatt.

I used to be a pastor...these days I'm an assistant pastor on weekends and manage a television station during the week.

My church is Sandy Cross Wesleyan Church in Reidsville, NC. The TV station is WGSR-TV 39 in Reidsville. It's not a Christian station as such, but we do carry Gaither Homecoming shows several times a week and other gospel and bluegrass shows spotlighting local artists.

Recently we had the honor of taping the Hoppers doing a live concert with the original Hopper Brothers and Connie in Virginia. It was well-received by folks here.

BTW...I am looking for a church to pastor full-time. If your church is in need of a hard-working, soul-winning, gospel music-loving pastor, perhaps we should talk.

Hello everyone!
My name is Jerry Tinkle, but everyone calls me 'JT', and that is the handle I go by on here.
I sing baritone for The Minister's Quartet, based out of Muncie, Indiana. We are fairly new to the southern gospel scene as a group, but all of our members are veterans of other groups. My previous group was Saved By Grace Quartet, based out of Marshall, Michigan.
The Minister's Quartet has been singing for about 6 months with our present lineup. We will do over 80 dates this year, and have already booked over 30 dates for 2007. We are in the process of finishing up our 1st recording, and plan to do a second one in March 2007.
We mostly sing in Indiana, but have done dates in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky, and are scheduled to sing in Tennessee in May 2007.
We are accepting dates to sing from anyone, anywhere. We have a silver eagle bus, and are able to go virtually anywhere we are called.

BTW, I attend Unity Christian Church in Marion, Indiana. I work as a scanning specialist/transfer clerk at the VA in Marion, Indiana.
